Humble Soup Supper


The fridge is still full of leftover odds and ends, and so it made sense to make a pot of soup. I've thrown in the ham bone from Christmas Day, the marinara sauce from last night's ravioli, some shredded carrots that don't look as crisp as they did when they were purchased, that last bit of celery and onion, and a couple of cans of Great Northern beans. I'll season it up after it's simmered for awhile. The house is smelling good!
