August Book Club

After much deliberation between the four of us as to when we could all get together, it was decided that we would meet at Patrick's Bakery in Richfield. It was a rainy morning, but they had plenty of seating on the covered patio in front of the cafe, and they didn't even tell us we could only sit for a short while. It seems like many places give you a time limit of 90 minutes, not nearly enough time to sit and chat about life! So, we sat for 3 hours, and talked about everything. I truly love these ladies, and I feel so much support from them. It made me think about how important it is to have women friends in your life. We women need each other! Anyway, the food was good, and Cathy brought us some homemade zucchini bread she'd baked from the zucchini in her garden. (With a little hug scotch taped on top of the foil). We took our usual selfie, and then it was noticed that we all had brown eyes ... perhaps our new name should be The Brown Eyed Book Club Beauties!
