| Twist loves an open window 💕 |
The weather has been almost summer-like this week. Ice on the lake is melting, the cats are loving the open windows, and today I even heard a mourning dove as we were out and about on our daily walk.
The rhubarb is starting to poke up, too, but I think it might be a bit longer before that first pan of rhubarb dessert can be made.
Last night we had Book Club here, and so at the last minute, Bruce and I scurried to get the porch swept out and wiped down so we could all sit out there. Then we drank up the last of the wedding wine, and listened to the birds sing and the wind chimes blow in the wind. It was wonderful.
