Got a phone call from Jake yesterday afternoon! Other than his math book always being sold out, it sounds like he's liking pretty much everything about his new school. His student job is working in the cafeteria as the grain guy, not sure exactly what that name means, but he says it reminds him of working take out at the Mandarin Yang. It was so great to hear his voice. The rest of the day was pretty much a usual kind of day with the exception of having some work done on the gutters of the house and we're hopeful that this will take care of the water in the basement situation.
