Bruce and I drove up to the cabin for the day on Sunday. He spent his time getting ready for his upcoming fishing trip, but I was tired and spent my time watching true crime programs on TV. I saw a few cows and hay bales along the way up, and took some pictures on my phone. Then on Labor Day, we spent most of the day laboring instead of playing. We worked on the upstairs of the house, vacuuming and decluttering. It felt good, and hopefully I'll be motivated to work on the other areas of the house needing attention. We also heard from Jake yesterday. He sounded happy and busy, so all is well. I guess I survived the weekend, after all.
