Little Boy Turns Two (And Is Baptized)

It's been a fun week with Thanksgiving and little boy turning two, then getting baptized. We had a brunch here after the church service to celebrate, and it was quite the party! My inspiration for the cupcakes I made (chocolate with purple frosting) was from a little free library book of colors that we've been reading, and of course there had to be little matchbox racing cars along side the cupcakes as little boy is crazy about cars at the moment.

Grandma Joyce came over for the brunch, and sat on the couch, basking in the sun streaming through the windows. Nick gave little boy a small shopping cart that was then loaded up with Christopher, and all his new books and toy animals. (Note that little boy is wearing his new orange pajamas from Jake and Brianna) As for the baptism, little boy was quite chatty before things got started, but then not so much when the baptism took place ...buttsa ... also, little boy and his momma were both baptized at the same church, which I think is pretty cool.

Time seems to be going by fast. I'm thinking that little boy is not going to be such a little boy much longer.
