September Already

Summer has come and gone in a flash. We've been busy with the parents, sometimes things seeming okay, other times not so much. Jake is home, but will be going back for his senior year at St. Olaf next week. Nick has been to two weeks of classes already! And Katie has opened her own Etsy shop Cheroiseau which has been fun for both of us as we discuss business strategies and try to make sense of SEO concepts. Please take a look at her shop's link as every view counts. Plus, she is very talented in her art.

I'm thinking that we should go to the Minnesota State Fair today. I know that we're not really in a spending ~ money ~ frame ~ of ~ mind these days, but the things I want to see are probably not in that category. The poultry barn is open this year, and of course the barns are some of my favorite places to see. We do like to share food, that way we get to taste different things and don't get too full. But the biggest draw of all, is that it looks to be an awesome day with lots of sun and cool breezes!

Of course I will post pictures of animals and food later on. Animals and food, all good things.

  1. Hi Sandy, I do hope you have fun at the fair! Jeff and I go to the one in his hometown which still has free admittance. We enjoy looking at the exhibits, animals and enjoying the entertainment. Our kids and grandkids usually join us and we either pack food to eat there or share a treat also. :)

I love how the cat, is it Tristan? photobombs your pictures. He seems like a very social fellow. :)

    Be blessed!
