Shelley and Bob invited us to take a boat ride on Lake Minnetonka with them this week. For about three hours, we cruised around a part of the lake, but didn't even come close to seeing all of it since Lake Minnetonka is huge! It was perfect weather, and so relaxing. 

Officially Retired

Since we are now all officially retired, our recent sister holiday together included a Celebration to note this momentous time in history. 🎈🎉🎈

And no retirement cake for this party, but a Chocolate French Silk Pie instead, which was probably even better than cake!

We had an outing at a local Sunflower Field, privately owned and shared with the public for free of charge. We liked that, of course. 🌻 

And we watched classic movies together, like Fried Green Tomatoes and Murial's Wedding. We even visited a new church in the area on Sunday morning!

I'm not sure if we'll be able to fit in another weekend together before the snow flies, but you just never know ...
