Daniel Is Baptized

Daniel was baptized on Sunday July 27th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minnetonka, the same church that both Katie and Aaron were baptized at.

Daniel put on a good show for the congregation, chattering on to the Pastor about Lightening McQueen and not looking the least bit apprehensive about his baptism. Uncle Nick, Uncle Jake, and Aunt Brianna were his sponsors. Before the sermon, the children were invited up to the front to sit with the Pastor, and Aaron was the only one to go. And then he put on a good show for the congregation, too, with clever answers to the Pastor's questions! Those two little boys are not shy. 😂

Katie and Avi invited us all back to their place afterwards for a ham dinner and cake. The food was delicious, of course, and included a very rich and decadent Buttercream Salted Caramel Cake from Nadia Cakes. The little boys and new kitten, Miso, provided entertainment for the afternoon.

Rhythm On The Rails With Curt And Teri

What a fun evening we had in Shakopee the other night! The streets were packed, and it was a squeeze to make our way through the crowd carrying our lawn chairs. Curt had already found the perfect place for us to sit, which was towards the back and on the edge of a quiet road. It was cool and breezy, and perfect. The Fabulous Armadillos were performing! Curt told us that one of the two lead singers was Chris Hawkey, who also has his own radio show in the morning on KFAN. He must have a lot of energy to perform like he does in the evening and then host a radio show the following day.
